Why We Built This Site
Connecticut permits access to many court and agency records, but the custodian depends on the document. A Superior Court clerk maintains the docket and formal court status. The police department or State Police troop may hold an arrest report, service return, or incident file. The public Judicial Branch interface shows only limited warrant categories, while PRAWN is restricted to authorized justice users. State marshals handle many civil capias matters but are not county sheriffs. We organize the official search routes, court contacts, terminology, and request steps so a reader can begin with the office that actually maintains the requested record.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant lookups: how to use the limited Judicial Branch warrant search, case dockets, and clerk confirmation
- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in Middlesex County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to a Connecticut court, police department, state marshal, or government agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or responsible law-enforcement agency can confirm current status. We can identify official routes, but cannot verify, recall, or resolve a warrant.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
